How this calculator works

We evaluate each plan separately, account for actual minimum purchasable Runway top-up blocks and rank only prices that are verifiable. Unknown regional prices are not assumed.

Pricing information reflects a documented snapshot dated October 29, 2026 and may change at any time. Visit the official pricing references before purchase decisions.

Frequently asked questions

Why might Runway Standard and Pro cost the same?

Once a Standard subscription needs multiple minimum credit top-ups, it can reach the price of Pro. In a cash-cost tie, the tool prefers fewer extra purchases.

Can the tool recommend a cheaper Google subscription?

Not reliably without verified region-specific subscription prices and refill rules. The Google Flow view shows credit coverage instead of inventing a USD comparison.

Worked example: the real cost of a small Runway overage

A project using 700 credits exceeds the Standard plan's 625-credit monthly allowance by just 75 credits. It may look like 75 cents of extra usage, but Runway sells additional credits in purchases starting at 1,000 credits for US$10.

With a monthly Standard subscription priced at US$15, the immediate cash outlay becomes US$25, not US$15.75. The 925 purchased credits not yet needed for that project remain available for future use, because purchased Runway credits do not expire.

The plan with the lowest immediate modeled cash cost is not always the best long-term fit. Consider your existing credit balance, annual discounts, access to required features and whether your workload is stable.
