How this calculator works
Draft credits equal the number of Turbo previews times Turbo credits per generation. Add the cost of Gen-4.5 final clips. This does not automatically imply savings compared with a final-only workflow.

Frequently asked questions
Does using Turbo always save money?
No. It adds cost unless it prevents enough expensive failed final renders to offset those drafts.
Can I mix Google Flow credits into Runway calculations?
No. Credits belong to their respective platforms and cannot be exchanged directly.
Worked example: draft cheaply, then render the final
For 10 five-second clips, making one draft in Gen-4 Turbo for each clip costs 250 credits. Rendering all 10 final clips with Gen-4.5 costs another 600 credits. Total hybrid use is 850 credits.
That is more than the 600-credit cost of creating the final clips without drafts. A hybrid workflow only saves credits if its inexpensive drafts prevent enough expensive final attempts to justify the initial draft cost.
Draft outputs are used as creative tests; a draft cannot necessarily be substituted into the exact final production workflow. Verify model capabilities and preserve your project assets before optimizing for cost alone.
