How this calculator works

Per-second pricing multiplies clip duration by a credit rate. Per-generation pricing uses a model-specific fixed or duration-tiered rate. We distinguish average expected credits from the number of whole generations you can actually order.

Pricing information reflects a documented snapshot dated October 29, 2026 and may change at any time. Visit the official pricing references before purchase decisions.

Frequently asked questions

Does one Google Flow request always cost one generation?

No. Google Flow states that some requests create more than one output. Credits are charged per generation, so count each generated output.

Can I convert Runway web credits directly to US dollars?

Not at a universal rate. A subscription includes a bundle of credits. Only use your own effective cost when you know it. API credits are a separate billing product.

Worked example: 10 finished clips in Runway Gen-4.5

Runway Gen-4.5 charges 12 credits per second. A five-second generation therefore costs 60 credits. If your project needs 10 usable clips and you expect 30% additional generations, plan for 13 outputs. That is 780 credits, rather than the 600 credits required without rework.

Credits are a usage unit, not a universal dollar price. A monthly plan, purchased credits and API access may have different effective costs. Do not automatically turn credits into dollars by using a single rate for every platform.

For Google Flow, some models charge a fixed number of credits per generated output rather than per second. Choose the specific duration supported by the model, and remember that a single request can create multiple outputs.

CreditPilot Lab is an independent tool, not a billing provider. Calculations are estimates and do not replace charges shown in your provider account.
